Miss Deaf Idaho RETIRES!

In 1983, IAD established Miss Deaf Idaho pageant (MDI).  It takes place every two years during the IAD conference in Gooding, Idaho.

Miss Deaf Idaho pageant hasn’t had a pageant since 1997.  In 2011, Darcy Sinsley and Chelsea Paulson revived MDI to have our “final” MDI for Idaho.  NAD has changed the format and we will no longer have a “pageant-style” competition anymore.  It’s designed to be more of a “leadership role”.

Miss Deaf Idaho ends 2012 when Idaho chooses 1 man, 1 female to represent Idaho for the next 2 years.  IDYR will be adopting and putting into effect the new format once NAD submits the guidelines.  Stay tuned for more information…
